We Have a Dream

Ferre Tarım established and first touched the earth of Thrace by planting pear orchards in 2015.

With its female entrepreneurs, we have a dream of inspiring more of us; white collars, blue collar; all colors of us!

Our farm's collective includes a neurologist doctor, a chemical engineer with R&D and public relations expertise in the food industry, and marketing&advertising professionals who have a dream to create another world. 70% of our founders, partners and employees are proudly women.

Approaching the harvest of 2023, we produce seasonal fruits and vegetables with modern methods on 400 decares in Tekirdağ and Kırklareli region, 50% of lands which belongs to the founders, 50% to the partners.

It has taken too long to realise that another world is possible - a world based on respect, morality, consciousness, friendliness, helpfulness, co-operation and fairness. Here, FERRE envisions a food and agriculture system based on small-scale, self-sustaining settlements, balanced within the natural ecosystem which produce healthy, highly nutritional, affordable and locally distributed food.

Our cold storage facility of 1000 tones, which we are a partner in and within our production ecosystem, enables our regular product flow both to Istanbul and other cities, which is 200 km away, as well as to international markets.

We cooperate with universities, sector organizations and consultants in all of the production, harvest, storage, distribution-sales, R&D processes.

In irrigation, we use Sustainable Energy with 96 KW of electrical energy produced in our Solar Energy Field, which we completed in 2022. We are planning to add Wind Energy, which is efficient in our region.

We develop value-added and delicious products such as Pear and Quince Vinegar, Molasses, Dried Fruit.

We believe that natural water sources are the best way to irrigate our crops, and our pond provides us with a reliable and sustainable source of water year-round. By using rainwater and other natural sources, we're able to reduce our dependence on costly and environmentally harmful synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

Sustainable agriculture is the key to a healthy and prosperous future, and our pond is just one small part of that vision.

We believe in sustainable agriculture and responsible farming practices, which is why we take great care to ensure that our fruits are grown using only the best natural materials and processes. Our commitment to quality is evident in every aspect of our gardens, from the careful selection of seeds and plants to the meticulous care and attention that we give to each and every tree. We're constantly exploring new ways to enhance the flavor and quality of our fruits.

The Harvest

We believe that empowering women is key to building strong and resilient communities. That's why we're proud to have a team that includes mostly women and female university students from the local villages around us.

We believe that by providing employment opportunities to women, we're helping to support their economic and social empowerment. Our female team members are an integral part of our farming operations, contributing their knowledge, skills, and expertise to help us grow and harvest the best produce possible.

We're committed to creating a workplace that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering for all of our team members. We provide training and educational opportunities to help our female team members grow and develop their skills, and we encourage them to take on leadership roles within our company.

Our Fruits, All Juicy

Our 2022 Deveci Pear, Santa Maria Pear and Eşme Quince fruit harvest from our orchards is over 350 tons. In addition, we are preparing for the Chander Walnut harvest at 100 acres.

Our fruits are carefully grown and harvested to ensure the highest quality and flavor. We're proud to offer a wide variety of fruits that are not only delicious but also sustainably grown.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We use regenerative farming techniques that help to restore soil health and biodiversity, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and conserve water resources. We believe in farming in harmony with nature, which means no harmful chemicals or pesticides as an effort to apply Good Agricultural Practices.

We believe in responsible farming practices, which is why we take great care to ensure that our vegetables are grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or other harmful chemicals. Instead, we rely on natural compost and other organic materials to nourish our plants and promote healthy growth.

As annual agriculture, we plan to diversify our Garlic, Spinach, Melon and Watermelon production in 2022 with vegetables and greenhouse products in the coming seasons.

Walnut Harvest

Our walnut trees are located in Kofçaz, within the borders of Kırklareli province.

Our walnut harvest is a time of great pride and excitement for us, as we've spent countless hours nurturing and tending to our trees to ensure that they produce the highest quality walnuts possible. From the moment our walnuts begin to grow until the moment they're picked, we use only the best natural materials and techniques to ensure that our walnuts are healthy, flavorful, and full of nutrition.

Products made from our walnut are carried out in cooperation with the Food Engineering Department of Kırklareli University, one of the most important universities in our country. Food Engineering and Agricultural Engineering students gain experience in our business during their internship processes

The Dairy from Kofçaz

Welcome to our dairy in Koçfaz, where we take great pride in producing high-quality dairy products from our happy and healthy cattle. Our dairy is a true labor of love, and we believe that happy cows make the best milk and dairy products.

Our cattle are treated with the utmost care and respect, and are free to roam and graze in our lush green pastures. We believe that the natural environment and diet of our cattle contribute to the exceptional quality of our dairy products, which are always fresh, natural, and free of any harmful additives or preservatives.

We're committed to sustainability and ethical farming practices, and we believe that our dairy plays an important role in our local community. We're proud to provide employment opportunities and support the local economy, while also producing nutritious and delicious dairy products.
